About me and my practice
Hello, my name is Natasha and working from a person centred, humanistic perspective I help all generations of adults who wish to understand and confront issues, build confidence and resilience and find a way forward in life.
Sometimes in life we can become stuck or need to work through issues in order to maximize our full potential
As a therapist my ethos is to help enable you on a journey of self discovery within an empathic and compassionate setting. Therapy can help you gain an improved understanding and recognition of self, identity, problems, patterns and life events. Having this fresh perspective can then offer you insight into how to work with issues, build strength and self esteem.
I am a fully qualified therapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). This ensures you are in safe hands as I adhere to the BACP's code of conduct and ethical framework.
Counselling can be provided in person, online, by telephone or in your own home. The latter 3 ways of working can be beneficial for clients in that they can enter the therapeutic process in the comfort of their own home with no travel, parking or extra time costs. Please be aware you do need to ensure you have a safe, confidential space to have your therapy sessions where no one can overhear our conversation.
Depending on your preferences therapy can be provided on a short or long term basis.
Experience
I have been working with client for several years now supporting all ages from 18 through to 70+ older adults. As well as working in private practice I work for 2 local charitable organisations providing counselling on a variety of issues on a long term basis.
